WHO I HELP
Support for Anxiety, Stress and Panic through Psychotherapy, Coaching or Psychological Consultancy
ANXIETY, STRESS AND PANIC
People often come to me when anxiety, stress or panic has started to take up space in their lives. It may feel difficult to switch off, manage thoughts and emotions and constantly feeling on edge. Below are some ways this can show up.
HEALTH ANXIETY SUPPORT AVAILABLE
More recently I have noticed that clients reach out because they worry about their health and check physical symptoms online. Sometimes they have already seen the GP and sometimes not. This checking can increase anxiety and can become a cycle that feels difficult to step out of. Most of the time this doesn’t require therapy. I offer a single coaching session to help clients understand what’s happening and begin to feel more in control again. Get in touch if this is something you would like to explore.
ANXIETY
You might be living with ongoing anxiety that feels difficult to switch off. Anxiety can affect how you think, feel and move through everyday life, and sometimes appears alongside other experiences such as ADHD, autism, menopause or obsessive thoughts.
Common experiences include:
• Constant worry or overthinking
• Feeling restless, tense or on edge
• Difficulty sleeping or relaxing
If anxiety is affecting your wellbeing, therapy can help you understand what’s happening and find ways to feel calmer, clearer and more in control.
PANIC
You might be experiencing panic attacks or sudden waves of intense anxiety that feel overwhelming or frightening. Panic attacks can happen unexpectedly and may make everyday situations feel difficult.
Common experiences include:
• Sudden panic attacks with racing heart, dizziness or breathlessness
• Feeling out of control or afraid something terrible might happen
• Avoiding places or situations for fear of panic returning
If panic attacks are affecting your life, therapy can help you understand these responses and regain a sense of safety and control.
STRESS
You might be feeling overwhelmed by stress, whether from work, life pressures or ongoing demands that feel difficult to manage. Long-term stress can affect both emotional and physical wellbeing.
Common experiences include:
• Feeling constantly under pressure or unable to switch off
• Irritability, exhaustion or difficulty concentrating
• Physical tension, headaches, disrupted sleep or nail biting
If stress is affecting your daily life, therapy can help you develop ways to feel more balanced, grounded and resilient.
